We recently were called to help with a laundry room dryer vent that was letting more hot air and moisture into the house than venting outside. Well, when the lady got tired of squeegeeing the water off her laundry room walls she called us and we found a new-fangled contraption with a large magnetic ring that connected the vent hose to the outside vent and did a pretty god job of it.
